What are your minimum entry requirements?

We ask that you have a minimum of a 2:1 degree or equivalent in a scientific, business or maths based degree. We are looking for people who are still studying, those who have graduated within the last 2 years, as well as individuals with postgraduate qualifications such as Masters and PhD qualifications.

There is no specific previous management work experience required for this role as the scheme is designed to develop your skills as a manager and a leader. However we will ask you to draw on your experiences in other roles or teams you have been part of during the competency based interview.

Is the scheme the right fit for me?

Our Graduate Managers Programme offers graduates the opportunity to develop the skills required to become a future leader through exposure to real business challenges which will prepare you for your role in the wider business upon completion of the scheme.

How do I apply?

What does the selection process involve?

Our application process involves  3 stages; an online application, assessment centre and final interview. For further information on our application process click here.

My online application was successful, how can I prepare for the assessment centre?

During the assessment centre you will participate in interviews, presentations and a case study. We highly recommend that you research the business prior to your interview, and that you review our leadership model to reflect on your experiences which relate to our core competencies.

How competitive is the scheme?

The scheme is massively competitive, and we always receive more applications than places we have available.

Can I defer my application until next year?

We do not accept deferred applications, but we encourage you to apply next year when the time is right for you.

Where should I expect to be based if I get onto the scheme?

We have 35 sites across the UK and Ireland which you could potentially be based in. It is likely that one of your placements, if not your first placement, will be based in either Swindon, Chorley or Derby.

Will I have opportunities to travel outside of the UK?

As a graduate on the UK Management scheme you will be based in the UK for the 2 year programme, but will have the opportunity to travel internationally.

What training and development can I expect during the scheme?

During the scheme you will be enrolled in both informal in-house workshops, as well as a nationally recognised management course, to provide you with the skills to become a future leader within our growing global business.

What is the starting salary?

Our graduates are offered a competitive starting salary of £25,000.

What role might I have upon completion of the graduate scheme?

You could have a range of roles in the business upon completion of the scheme, depending on the experiences and skills you have gained during your two years.
