Synergy Health’s Graduate Management programme is all about providing our graduates with the right development opportunities to become a future leader in our growing global business. As a future leader, we want to empower you to make the most of your scheme, and encourage you to seek out as many new development opportunities as possible in order to truly appreciate the scale and breadth of our business.

To help you do this, following your induction week, you are involved in a two week project introducing you to two of our core business lines and the technologies underpinning them, providing you with your first exposure to the pace and passion required to be a graduate at Synergy. Your project findings are presented back to our senior leadership team, highlighting just how much responsibility we place in our graduates from day one. You will be involved in numerous projects like this throughout your 2 year programme, which will supplement your day-to-day responsibilities.

Over your two year scheme, you will experience two rotations across two of our business lines. This allows you to build upon your experiences within one business for a year, enabling you to see how different parts of the wider business operate together. There are numerous opportunities for our graduates to work in a diverse range of teams including HR, commercial, business operations, IT and finance.

Our graduate scheme isn’t for the faint hearted! It’s fast paced, and you are given real responsibility and access to senior managers from day one. Our business is growing rapidly, and everyone working at Synergy shares the same sense of pride and determination to work together to achieve this.

We are looking for driven and passionate graduates who share our company values and can demonstrate the emotional intelligence to be able to communicate with a diverse range of people, who can juggle a number of projects simultaneously and who can help us build a lasting reputation as the trusted experts in global health-related markets. We are interested in graduates who have a strong scientific or business degree (minimum 2:1), who share our company values and who can demonstrate achievement, accountability, integrity and innovation, which are integrated into every aspect of working life at Synergy Health.

Training and Development

We recognise the importance of developing your skills as both a manager and leader. During the scheme you will be enrolled in both informal in-house workshops, as well as a nationally recognised management course run by the Chartered Management Institute, to provide you with the skills to become a future leader within our growing global business.

Locations

Synergy is a growing global business with 94 facilities across the world. As a graduate on the UK Management scheme you will be based in the UK for the 2 year programme, but will have the opportunity to travel internationally, depending on the projects you are working on.

Most of our graduates will complete at least one placement at our head office in Derby, which houses a number of our core business support functions and senior management.

After the programme

Throughout your 2 years at Synergy you will have identified what areas of the programme you have enjoyed the most, and with your line manager will have identified a role you’d like to move into. In some cases our graduates have carved out new roles for themselves whilst on the scheme, really demonstrating just how valuable they are to the business.

A job at the end of the programme is not guaranteed. You will be competing against other graduates on the scheme, as well as other managers within the business, but we will offer you support and guidance throughout the programme to help you with finding the right role for you.
