Synergy Health Processes over 100 million surgical instruments per annum…
Synergy has considerable experience in providing decontamination and sterile services to the primary care, acute care and private healthcare markets across the globe. The company has been providing this service since 1996 when Synergy was awarded its first commercial contract for sterile services, the first of its kind in the UK.
Today Synergy operates from over 40 facilities across the world including continental Europe, USA and China, processing around 100 million surgical instruments per annum. In England alone we are currently relied upon to provide mission-critical decontamination services to 52 primary care providers and 45 acute hospitals. In order to provide this service, Synergy delivers sterile instruments to hundreds of delivery points from 19 facilities located around the UK on a daily basis.

These technologies provide outsourced sterilisation services to manufacturers; in particular sterilising single use medical products, enhancing the performance of polymers and providing technical laboratory services.

The newest branch of the Synergy tree, Reusable Surgical Solutions was introduced in late 2012.
This service is FDA approved and is one of our current offerings to the US market. It is an environmentally friendly alternative to disposable surgical linen, and has helped a number of US hospitals reduce their impact on the environment by reducing the amount of waste that goes to landfill.
